The Heffernan Lab at Duke University

The Duke University River Center

Picture
The Duke River Center houses personnel (students, technicians, and post-docs) and equipment from the Heffernan, Marani, Bernhardt, McGlynn, and Doyle labs.  The newly-built facility is approximately 3500 sq. ft., and includes an analytical chemistry lab (see instrument list here), a prep room for processing of soil, sediment, tissue, and water samples, additional bench space for experiments and other lab work, and storage rooms,  as well as an office and a conference room.

We are expecting this beautiful, brand new facility to become the hub of everything we do, from idea generation to sample analysis.  We're fortunate to have it.
